A case study in mental health marketing, search visibility, and audience engagement
The Art of Change is a counselling and psychotherapy organisation providing relational, inclusive, and trauma-informed mental health support.
Minds Partnership previously worked alongside The AOC to support their digital visibility through SEO-led content, newsletter strategy, search planning, and Google Ads campaigns.
The project focused on strengthening online discoverability while ensuring all communication remained aligned with the organisation’s therapeutic values and professional tone.

The Challenge
Mental health organisations often face a unique digital challenge: How do you improve visibility online while still communicating with warmth, ethics, and clinical integrity?
The AOC needed support in creating consistent, accessible content that could:
Improve search visibility
Better communicate their services online
Engage existing audiences through email marketing
Support sustainable digital growth
Maintain a relational and community-focused tone throughout
At the same time, competition in therapy-related searches continued to rise, making structured SEO and content strategy increasingly important.

Our Approach
SEO-Led Mental Health Content
We developed and ghostwrote SEO-optimised monthly articles on psychotherapy, emotional wellbeing, relational therapy, and mental health
.
Each article was designed to:
Improve organic search visibility
Support Google and AI-driven search discovery
Translate complex therapeutic ideas into accessible language
Reflect the AOC’s existing tone of voice and values
The focus was always on creating genuinely useful content rather than overly commercial healthcare marketing.
Newsletter Strategy & Audience
Communication
Alongside article writing, we planned and delivered monthly newsletters that helped maintain consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and supporters.
Campaigns were written to feel informative, human, and aligned with the organisation’s therapeutic approach, thereby strengthening engagement across its audience base.
Search Visibility & Digital Planning
Support also included broader SEO and digital strategy guidance, including:
Keyword planning
Search intent optimisation
Content structuring
Internal linking recommendations
Evergreen content planning
Visibility tracking over time
This helped create a more sustainable content ecosystem designed for long-term discoverability.
Google Ads Campaigns
The project later expanded into Google Ads management across both Search and Display campaigns.
Campaigns were carefully written to remain ethical, accessible, and appropriate for mental health audiences while improving visibility for people actively searching for therapeutic support.
Results
The collaboration delivered measurable improvements in audience engagement and online visibility, including:
300% increase in blog traffic
42% average email open rate
9.3% click-through rate
Improved visibility across therapy-related search terms
More consistent digital communication and content publishing
Most importantly, the organisation developed a stronger, more structured online presence that aligns with the depth and professionalism of its therapeutic work.
